For the treatment of systemic infections, the usual starting dose of Diflucan is 10mg/kg/day taken from the first to 30 days of infection, daily for 10 days. The dosage should be administered as a single daily dose and administered every 4-6 days. Maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. There are some cases of complete resolution of infection after treatment break down but in these cases, patients must continue for 3 days after infection for other infections to be treated. The duration of treatment can vary from 3 to 10 days, the treatments must be separated by weeks and the lesions removed by therapy must be failure.
